WOMENS CONFERENCE

I really loved women's conference. The message I felt overwhelmingly was that Jesus Christ's love endures through us as we show compassion and charity to those around us. Like President Eyring said, we promised to do this at baptism. 

Can't wait for general conference next week!

For our Saturday night date night Dallas and I went to the Newport Pier to watch the sunset and then over to Balboa island to grab a frozen banana (and a balboa bar) at Dad's and walk around the island.  Balboa at night it seriously pretty close to heaven. Its astonishingly quiet, amazing views, cool ocean air and the best frozen treats around. We love walking around the waterfront and deciding which beach house we would buy if we had 3 million dollars lying around.

DISNEYLAND WEEKLY

Logging our weekly Disneyland time. We seriously had so much fun exploring mickeys toontown. Mickey and Minnie's pads, Roger Rabbit's rabbits cartoon spin, the gadget go coaster... Seriously how have we not been going there every time?

GRATITUDE JOURNALS

So I am the Activity Day leader in my ward and tonight me and the girls of South Coast are going to be putting together gratitude journals. Very excited. 

Here's what we are using: 
-small cardstock books (from Daiso Japan)
-I made some graphics for the cover window ("Lets get Thankful")
-some other fun supplies (buttons, sequins etc) for decorating  
-scriptures and quotes on gratitude to paste onto the inside over and back 

I love that the pages are blank and the entries can be a little more creative. A sketch, taping in something, it can be a little bit more like your gratitude doodle-book, which is totally my style.

My favorite quote on gratitude:
